As you know, I love writing songs about insights and experiences of people I know. This story is about a career trucker who is infamous for a girl in every town , until…he meets the ‘one’ at a truck stop. The girl’s dad is the owner of the ‘ Golden Beaver Restaurant ‘ and has a few tricks of his own to get his daughters married off.

It is a whimsical journey with a special nod to a business in Ontario Canada named La Rue’s Trucking celebrating 75 years in 2021.

Characters are part of the bigger story in the musical screenplay co-written by Rob Mullen Jr and Gabi von Gans called “Summer Six-Pack” (TM) about six friends and their crazy stories through life.

The trucker / owner of the company was also the drummer in the Six-Pack Band (R) in our story. Lots of fun and shenanigans in this song.

Rob’s beautiful lyrics in this ballad speak to the human race as one body on Earth. He is very passionate about following your true life path and living in peace. He takes the listener on a wonderful journey of his self discovery. It builds to a choral finale that lifts your spirits again and again.

Rob chose to release this cut today, January 11th, 2020 due to the frightening unrest in the far East. Canada lost 57 Canadians in a commercial plane bombing by Iran on January 8th. Rob felt that this peaceful song might sooth some spirits who are in shocked grief for their loved ones.

Summer Six-Pack TM features an original script & screenplay with a 12 pack of original songs & music written by Rob Mullen Jr. A third six-pack of original songs is currently in the studio being finished.

Gabi and Rob launched the writing of this project in 2009 and tested some of the original songs that fall in Vienna, Austria to a live crowd. People loved it and danced to some of the music in a downtown night club. The copyright and North American trademarks are secured and the project is ready for its IPO. Sponsors are invited to contact the team for a variety of products numbering more than thirty high end placements.
